Uwe Boll (Far Cry, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne, Postal) is not going to direct any of these new movies. That is enough of evidence
that they will not suck. I mean, almost every video game that has been turned into a movie was a complete disaster and almost every video game that is based on a movie also was a blunder(although there are some exceptions: Resident Evil, Lara Croft, Silent Hill (looking forward to the announced sequel…)) But now with the release of Prince of Persia, that looks pretty good, we hear news that Mass Effect will get its movie and untitled Warcraft project is well under way. Mass Effect is picked up by Legendary Pictures (Clash of the Titans, Ninja Assassin, The Dark Knight, 300) that are also making a Warcraft movie. So far Mark Protosevich (I am Legend, Thor) is assigned to scriptwriting,and the director will be Sam Raimi(The Evil Dead, Spider-Man, Drag Me to Hell) who said that Arthas will not be the main character, but some new guy in this fantastic world that has captured the attention(money, time, emotions and almost everything else) of the millions. With the budget no less than 220 million dollars I am certain that this will look phenomenal, now we just have to wait and see what the story will be like…
